The style of this was pretty much an accident. I didn't realize certain brush settings were on. I don't really like it compared to the other portraits I've done.
Shes a character named Faux from a comic book I and a friend wrote awhile ago.
Her cold gaze, Unfettered, and full of deep thoughts, of all your portraits I have my favorite now, which is kind of ironic no?, someone "favoriting" one of your works that you are not so happy with...
Reminds me of my visit at ConceptArt.org, which I showcase an Old and a New picture of a concept on a "beastie", and I got told that my old picture (which was like 4 or 6 yrs old) was much more liked than my new piece...
sdkfj I love this ;; Even with the weird brush settings it came out pretty sweet looking... For one thing I really love the dull red and green colors.. You did a good job on the facial features, I like the nose the best I like the unfinished look of the hair and how straggly and unkempt it is, really adds to the character/feel 8)
cool shading on the face and hair, little things like light on the eye, nose and lips, make it look finished even if it's not.the face is really expresive
