That's new. Very sneaky but awesome once you see what it it's suppose to be. It's almost like those 3D stereograms (not really). This would be an awesome cover for the novel if you could work in a silhouette of Shark too.
Absolutley love this piece, I could not figure it out in the beginning what it was, it kept me guessing until I figured it out eventually, which I like about this piece that it is thought-provoking. I think it is due to the use of some of your brushes, you use them in an abstract way, which is very different from what I saw of your previous work. I think the way that you used the different brushes(both thick and thin brushes) to create this piece is absolutely awesome. Also nice use of negative and positive space, I have one suggestion though, maybe have the same drawing but with a red background(does not even have to be the whole background, just part of it) or a red skull so people can have a choice between pictures if you decide to make a print of this. Completely awesome piece. I am looking forward to this series, when is it coming out if you don't mind me asking? Keep up the awesome work David, looking froawrd to seeing more work of yours in the near future
